Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Israel were established on 7th of April, 1992, however during last couple of years our relations reached the level of strategic cooperation and partnership.
Strong bonds and shared traditions between Azerbaijani and Jewish people date back to thousands of years before. The Jewish community in Azerbaijan and those who made Aliyah to Israel have always acted as a bridge between our countries.
